As you may have noticed, there are no advertisements on yanewyork.com. This is because they totally mess with the feng shui of the site, and because it’s hard to control who advertises with you. I could not, for instance, sell ads to publishing houses (no preferential treatment!), or to businesses with whom I have ethical quibbles.

So pretty much everything here is a labor of love. Which makes me an official starving artist. Woohoo! Only … if you really want to help, I suppose you could send me cookies. Or books.

Or you can support YA New York by buying the books recommended here. When you click the link at the bottom of a review, I may receive referral fees if you buy that book, as I am a participant in the Amazon Associates program.

If you prefer not to use the click-through option, I promise my feelings won’t be hurt. You can just, you know, go to your local bookstore, or buy the books from Amazon without clicking through to them from YA New York.
